Favorite Book:
My favorite book this month, by far, was Father of Lies. I loved that it was based on history and I learned a lot about the Salem Witch Trials. It was a nice little twist of fiction to actually teach a little history.
Least Favorite Book:
The book I gave the least amount of bookmarks to this month was Tyger Tyger. I didn’t hate it, but I’m not used to goblins. I will pick up the second book, with hopes that they’ll grow on me. But they’re scary
December Goals:
This month is dedicated entirely to holiday reading. I’ve already started my first one, The First Love Cookie Club. I have three of my holiday books on my Nook. I read a whole lot on there the first month I got it, and have fallen off since, only reading 1 on it in November. I need to spend some more time with it this month and have made a list of books I want to download after Christmas. Oh, and I found a local library that offers ebooks that I am going to start checking out. Anywho, I don’t have a lot of other big aspirations for the month, knowing I will be doing a lot of decorating, a lot of shopping and a lot of wrapping.
Now I did already give my husband one of his Christmas presents, a PS3, which will consume most of his time. In return for this, I am getting my Christmas present, a Canon Rebel XS, a little early. This will give me time to practice with it and get associated with it before Christmas Eve so I can take bunches of pictures. So, when I get this, I’ll probably put everything else to the side and focus solely on perfecting my camera knowledge.
I didn’t finish NaNo in November, but got almost 30,000 words down. I hope to continue on this and get my first draft of it done, then I’ll work on editing both of my WIPs. I am still feeling pretty good about them and have even set up a third one. Wow. I can’t believe I’m writing books. Now, just to get them finished and published.
Now last month I posted with joy that I had the biggest month ever on my blog. This month totally trumped that. Whatever is going on with Pretty Little Liars, I am not complaining. I had over 2600 blog views this month, up from 1300, which was my highest ever. And the majority of those came from people who were searching Pretty Little Liars. I have no idea how they found my blog. I searched Pretty Little Liars and my blog wasn’t on the first 5 pages. I also added ‘book review’ to the end of it and it still didn’t pop up. Either way, thanks to Sara Shepard!!!
I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving and are gearing up for the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Favorite Book
This might have to be the hardest decision I have made when wrapping up a month. I normally read a book or two that blow me away, but this month was filled with them. The Hunger Games, Dead Politician Society, Wildthorn, and Catching Fire were all awesome! Dead Politician Society and Wildthorn were written amazingly and were very creative in how they were set up, but I just can’t get over The Hunger Games series. I love books that are in a world that belongs in only a dream but could possibly be a reality!
Least Favorite Book:
My least favorite book of the month was The Sweetness of Salt. It was cute, I just didn’t love it.
Goals for October:
Lets see. I feel like the month of September was just meh. I worked a crazy schedule all month, which I thought would give me more reading time, but not so much. All I wanted to do was sleep when I got home from work. Didn’t give me much writing or reading time. I read some awesome books this month, as stated earlier and have some good ones on the table to come up.
It was a big month for me though because I got a Nook. I absolutely love it! I’ve already ready 6 books on it! It is one of the best inventions ever. I still have $50 to buy some e-books, but I have so many great ones from NetGalley, I haven’t needed to use it.
I don’t necessarily have any reading goals this month. I do want go get all of my holiday reading in order this month though. I need to find a book or two for Halloween. I have 6 already set up for the Christmas holiday. I will be posting on these soon and asking for ideas so start thinking.
I do have more writing goals this month. I have gone back through and started adding to my WIP and I am pretty confident I can get through my second draft by either the end of this month or next.
How was your month?

Favorite Book:
There were a few books that I really liked this month, but I would have to say my favorite was Firefly Lane. I could not get enough of it and although it was 400+ pages, I was through it in no time. It’s a fantastic read and I keep recommending it to all of my co-workers.
Least Favorite Book:
I never thought I would say that a Private book would be my least favorite in a month, but Scandal was it. The other books were just so intense, this one didn’t do it for me. I thought it was a little boring, but am looking forward to the next one, as the ending left us with a major cliffhanger.
I did stop reading Match Made on Madison this month. I didn’t really give it a lot of time. I got some other books that I had been waiting on and since I just started, I just as easily stopped. I will get back to it at some point.
Goals for September:
I am really excited for the month of September. For one, it’s my birthday month! Woo! And this year, I am getting a Nook! Woo Again! So, I will probably put some books that are on my TBR shelf aside (obviously they already are) and check out some freebies and NetGalley’s on the Nook.
I have another goal with NetGalley. I want to get better at getting the books read and reviews ready before the books come out. This past month, I wasn’t able to do that. It’s September 1 already and I have three that came out today that I haven’t even started.
I am pretty much caught up with the series I am reading, but this month, I am looking forward to finishing The Hunger Games and the rest of the books in this series that are staring at me from my bookshelf.
And finally, I hope to make some more progress on my writing WIP. I have gone back through and made some additions and changes to the first 50 some pages. I have added some twists and turns that I really like and am still really excited about it. This month, I have a shift change on Friday’s and will be getting off at 12:30 all months on those days. I plan to spend those Friday afternoons, as fall nears, writing on the porch.

Favorite Book:
This is a hard month! I read A LOT of good books this past month! I would probably say the winner is a tie between Pretty Little Liars and Unbelievable. These are the first and fourth books in the PLL series. They were a great start and a great finish (I only got the first four) to the series.
Least Favorite Book:
Much like with the tough decision of favorite book, this is tough too. I gave only 4s and 5s this month. I would probably say Sloppy Firsts was my least favorite. I liked it, but I wasn’t sure how much I was going to like the series after I read it. I loved Second Helpings though, so I am happy now, because I have the first four lol.
Goals for July:
Although I read a lot last month, I feel like I am really behind in my reading. I am currently reading a book I got from a publishing company. I have two more on the way from a PR person and just signed up for 7 galleys on NetGalley. I have plenty on my plate and will weave in one on my TBR throughout the month.

Favorite Book:
This is a hard month to choose. I really liked both of the Sookie Stackhouse books I read – but I also gave 5 bookmarks to Invitation Only. I’ve been giving a lot of bookmarks the past couple of months. I’m finally reading a lot of the books I’d been asking for
Least Favorite Book:
I will probably say that Dewey (although I haven’t reviewed it yet) is my least favorite book. I enjoyed the read because I like cats, even though I am allergic and can’t have one, it’s just not the type of book I normally read. I am more of a fiction girl. I like the drama. Yes, Dewey did bring drama, but towards the end, I had a hard time sticking with it.
Goals for March:
I hope this month to finish the Private series and start on the Jessica Darling series. They are on my shelf just looking at me. I also have a book from a publisher that I just got. It’s a little out of my realm, but I am excited to try it.
