AnnAlysis: A Wedding Blunder in the Black Hills
Millie wants nothing more than to leave her small town and pursue her acting career. But for the time being, she is stuck, running a diner with her mother and going on dates that her mother keeps setting up. Her mother has her eyes set on David, a widowed dentist. Millie ends up in his chair with lost filling . She doesn’t want to date and he isn’t ready, so they decide to pretend to get everyone off their backs. But at some point, the line between fantasy and reality starts to blur.
This was a very cute story. Something about this book struck a note with me. It sounded fun and light and that’s exactly what I was looking for. It was predictable, of course when anyone pretends to fall in love, it normally happens, but it was such a great little love story, I didn’t care.
The characters in this book are very likable and easy to quickly fall in love with and want to root for.
If you need a quick, easy and fun read, definitely pick up A Wedding Blunder in the Black Hills. I give it 4 bookmarks.
