Teaser Tuesday 10/13
This week’s teaser comes from Dead Until Dark. As Halloween approaches, I thought it fitting to start reading “scary” books. I have the first 8 in this series, but the week of Halloween, I will be starting Interview with a Vampire. I’ve been saving it.
I know I’m a dork
Pg22 Definition of a Fang-Banger: “Men and women that hang around with vampires and enjoy being bitten. Vampire groupies. They don’t last that long, I think, because they want to be bitten to much, and sooner or later they get that one bite too many.”
Isn’t this true about so many things? What are you teasing this week?

Haha the term Fangbanger just cracks me up. Great teaser!
I keep seeing this book around so it must be good. I liked the teaser. Mine is here: http://rundpinne.blogspot.com/2009/10/nine-dragons-teaser-tuesdays.html
I enjoyed reading this – I hope you’re liking it!
Here’s my Teaser Tuesday.
A good teaser from a great series! Mine is here.
I have Dead Until Dark in my TBR stack! I started it a few weeks ago and got side-tracked, but I definitely want to get back to it soon. And with Halloween approaching — perfect!
Ohhhhh that is a good one, I have put Sookie Stackhouse on my Christmas wish list but I keep getting excited to just go and buy it.
I know! It was one of the first things I wrote down about this book that I liked!
So far, so good. It’s been an easy, quick read so far and I don’t want to put it down! And my dad got me the 8 book box set, so I’ll be able to keep reading when I finish. I hate having to wait until I can get the next one
I can’t wait for you to start “Interview.” It’s a classic in the vampire genre, and I think it eventually will become a literary classic. I became such an Anne Rice fan that I wrote her with a request to autograph my copy of “Interview” if I sent it to her and paid the return postage. Instead, I received the nicest hand written message from her assistant Sue Quiroz. It was sent the week that the film version of “Interview” premiered and included an autographed photo of Anne. Such a thoughtful gesture from one of the most gifted modern writers — I will treasure it forever.
BTW, love your blog. Need to look around more.
Very cool! You never told me that before!!! I can’t wait to read it so we can have a book chat at work … I mean during “dinner” or something
