I haven’t done this in a couple of weeks. I have practiced MAJOR self restraint. I even got a gift card for Borders and haven’t spent it yet. I am going to make myself wait until I need new books. It won’t be anytime soon. All of the books I got this week were gifts.

First, I got the book you see to the right. A co-worker got this for me as a wedding present. She even found one of the poems that talked about love and told me to read that one. Great idea!!! I love when people put time and effort into presents!

I also got this Sookie Stackhouse set as a gift from my dad. Since I don’t like to spend my own money, I always ask for books for birthdays and Christmas. This was part of my birthday gift. Lets hope I like them since I got a set of 8. I have heard a lot of great things though so I am very optimistic!
