Dog Ear

So the book I am reading, I ordered from Amazon.com. And while I got it for a really good price and it said it was “like new” almost every 2 pages I get angry. Not only did the person who read it before me fold over the pages instead of using a bookmark, they folded them one way, then folded them back another way. LOL Yes, There are 2, I say 2, creases almost every couple of pages.

I do not like creases on my pages. Mahhh.

But I can’t complain TOOOO much because this is a 600 page book that I’ve been carrying in my purse everywhere I go so even though the last 12 pages and the back cover are folded over, and were when I got it, the front cover is also folded now! Argh! I can’t wait to get through this and get it on my shelf and give it a rest and hopefully get it straightened out.

Magnetic Bookmark

This is the kind of bookmark I use. AND I LOVE IT! It allows me to mark the exact paragraph I’m on when I am done reading and it doesn’t fall out when in my purse and it doesn’t CREASE PAGES! Get one, know it, love it :)

Happy Friday!

I’m OCD about creases and marks on my pages, too! Unless I’m the one that put them there. And most of the time, it’s on accident…

I use those really thin, flimsy paper bookmarks you usually can get for free from Borders or other bookstores. I like the book to always lay completely flat when closed! More of my reading OCD, haha…

A little OCD Kari lol…… but i can understand that. Look on the bright side, it could have been a dried boog……that would have totally freaked you out.

LOL I like flat bookmarks too. I think we need to start/join a OCD Book Readers anonymous :)
