I liked Hot Six. I gave it 4 bookmarks. But I LOVED 7! It was my first Evanovich to get 5 bookmarks :)

When I read, I REALLY get into the books. I fall in love with characters and they become part of me. The last book in a series is like a break up! I'm such a dork I know!

I agree, I like it when I can hang out with a character (or group of characters) for more than one book. In stand alone books, I often wonder what happens to a character when that particular story is over. Surely something else will take place during their lifetime (granted that they are still alive at the end of the book). I like that series answer some of those questions.

And yes, the Stephanie Plum series is great for catching up with the group of characters because it goes on and on and on... I'm reading #6 right now :)
